Eat all the foods

I don’t consider myself very hippy about my diet.  True, in my day to day eating, I aim to eat relatively healthy — I enjoy lots of veggies and nuts and such.  I enjoy the hell out of veggie juicing and may even break down and buy a juicer here shortly.  I try to not eat a lot of meat and when I do, I try to make sure it’s cage-free, non-hormone, etc., etc.  But I still willing stuff my face with it.

I try to eat healthy, but I don’t like to ask anyone how they should eat.  That’s your choice and up to you.  You can do the research — and while I personally believe when people get high salts and sugars out of their diet, they’ll find food (especially slow, local food) is an even more amazing experience.  I also believe if we do this together, the good, healthy food will become cheaper and more sustainable.  But I’m not going to make demands about what people eat.

Except in one case: high fructose corn syrup.  I refuse to put it (or any other moniker) in my body and I don’t think anyone else should either.

This shit is killing us and it needs to go.
